Director/Principal Structural Engineer

Jason Finch is a Chartered Professional Structural Engineer and Director at Forum Engineers. Jason has worked in a consulting environment since graduation from the University of Newcastle in 2007. Jason has extensive experience in the design of steel, reinforced concrete and timber structures and has worked on a wide range of projects from small residential extensions to multi-million dollar commercial, industrial & residential developments.

Jason has a broad range of skills and experience in project management, computer aided design modelling, carrying out technical inspections, preparing reports and has excellent written & verbal communication. Jason is highly skilled in working as part of a team to deliver projects in a timely manner to meet the needs of clientele and the requirements of regulatory authority guidelines. 

Some of Jason’s interests include mountain biking, snowboarding, water sports, four wheel driving, camping and motor sport.

Director/Structural & Civil Designer

Daniel Shore is a Structural and Civil designer and Director at Forum Engineers. Daniel has over 19 years of design experience in civil & structural projects ranging from minor extensions to dwelling through to multi-million dollar architecturally designed dwellings & multi-unit developments. His civil expertise is predominately with stormwater drainage modelling & stormwater quality modelling. These skills are put to use in the preparation of flood studies & the design of stormwater drainage systems for multi-unit residential developments & industrial/commercial developments.

Daniel’s structural projects are mostly residential design from dwelling extensions to large architecturally designed dwellings & multi-unit developments.

Daniel’s ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects, Council staff, builders & colleagues allows him to consistently meet client’s expectations.

Daniel was previously the manager & associate director of HSS Structural & Civil Engineers.
